1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the bit1 learning platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, then you may not access the Service.

2. User Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must create a Parent Account. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and assigning Student Profiles. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription and Billing

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis depending on the type of subscription plan you select.

Subscription fees are non-refundable.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to the Service through the end of your billing period.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not use the Service:

In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way.
To transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material.
To attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (including all related educational materials, graphics, character designs like "Bitsy", and software) are and will remain the exclusive property of bit1learning and its licensors.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes via email or through the Service. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
